All of our garments are made to the measurements you give us, or are available in a standard size.
Give us the measurements you WANT us to use, not necessarily the actual measurement.

THIS IS NOT YOUR BRA SIZE! Measure around the body at the same level as the nipples. (If you are going to wear a bra, measure with the bra on for accuracy.)
The measurement is taken around the rib cage beneath the breasts. (It does not include the breast.)
Tilt your upper body slightly and measure around the indent just below your ribcage. (Stand straight during measurement).
The measurement is taken around the hip bone just beneath the belly button. Measure around the center of the hip bone. This is generally the bottom of the hem of a T-shirt, or the waistband for hiphugger pants with a front rise of 9 inches, for example.
Measure around the largest part of your hip (butt).
Place the end of the measuring tape in the center of the crotch (Between the legs, don't be shy, stick it way up in there tight!) and measure upward to the desired front rise for shorts, leggings, pants and swimwear.
• 12 inches is waist high
• 9 inches is hiphugger
• 7 inches is low rise
• 5 inches is super low rise
Place the end of the measuring tape in the center of the crotch (Between the legs, don't be shy, stick it way up in there tight!) and measure upward to the desired rear rise for shorts, leggings, pants and swimwear.
• 16 inches is waist high
• 12 inches is hiphugger
• 9 inches is low rise
• 7 inches is super low rise (average butt crack top)
Inseam is the length of the pant leg. Place the end of the measuring tape in the center of the crotch (Between the legs, don't be shy, stick it way up in there!) and measure to desired bottom of a pant leg, normally to the ankle bone.
Measure around the widest part of the thigh. This is 2 inches down from the center of the crotch.
Measure around the widest part of the knee, approximately 16 inches up from the ankle.
Measure all the way around the calf of the leg. This measurement is used for Capri length pants and leggings.
When choosing the ankle for leggings or catsuit leg length, measure all the way around the ankle at the ankle bone. Also measure around the widest part of your foot, to make sure the bottom hem (ankle size) will go over the foot. If you want a tighter ankle, order ankle zippers.
We DO NOT measure like tailors do. We measure from the SEAM of the sleeve, not from the back of the neck. Measure from the center, top of the shoulder where the arm meets the collar bone, down the straight arm to the desired length (usually the wrist bone).
Measure all the way around the bicep (do not flex the muscle). This is 6 inches down from the center top of your shoulder. This is also the length of a short sleeve shirt sleeve.
Measure all the way around the wrist at the wrist bone. Make sure the width of your hand can pass through that space. If not, you can order wrist zippers to make it tighter.
Front torso measurement is for catsuits and rompers. Stand straight up while taking this measurement. Put the measuring tape at the very center of the crotch (don't be shy, stick it WAY UP IN THERE!). Then measure diagonally up, over the bust, to the center top of the shoulder where the arm bone meets the collar bone.
Measure all the way around the largest part of the neck, under the chin and before the shoulders. We use this as a MINIMUM size for a collar. For comfort, place 2 fingers inside the measuring tape and use that measurement. If you are adamant that the measurement be exact, put a message at checkout.
Measure from the tip of the middle finger, up to the desired length of the glove.
Typically used for hobble dresses and hobble skirts, this measurement is the circumference of the bottom of the maxi dress/skirt. The smallest it can be is standing with both ankles touching, and measuring the circumference.
